A brief letter from Jim Shrimplin:
Greeting from Dubuque, IA.
I was fortunate enough to have been at the concert here in Dubuque on Sunday. I would like to say that was the best violin playing that I have ever heard. I am new to the classical works so that probably does not mean a whole lot but if more people had the opportunity to hear this level of ability there would be more lovers of classical music. I hope that you will be able to come back to the Dubuque area soon. If I hear about it, I will do everything I can to come and to bring my family with me. The only thing that I regret about this concert was the fact that my 8 year old son was not able to be there. He has been playing for a little over a year and it would been a great encouragement to hear someone so young play so well. Thanks for the wonderful afternoon of great music. Your instrument is truly in the hands of a master!
Thanks again,
Jim Shrimplin
A New Lover of the Four Seasons!
